Hello hello and welcome back to another blog post. This post has been well overdue and for that i’m so sorry! I thought i’d share with you all these photos I took for another portfolio shoot with the amazing model Sabina.

What makes working with a ‘good’ model for me is someone who just has that ‘it’ factor. I can’t exactly put my finger on it. It’s when the model takes direction no problem no matter how abstract. I cannot recommend Sabina enough! She was super professional and down right gorgeous.

I’ve recently been trying out a few different editing techniques that I hadn’t tried before this. That’s one of the things that I love the most about photography. Especially fashion/editorial and portraiture as there is room for trial and error and room to be creative and try something new.

Editing is probably my favourite part of the process. One thing I will say though is that it can drive you a bit mad. If you are like me then you can become a little OTT as it can be hard to know when to stop and come to a finished product.

We shot these pictures at a place I hadn’t really shot before. I recently worked with a photographer not long ago (make sure you read my recent blog post – Oh My Manly┬áto see those photos). and the location he chose for the shoot was Collins Flat Beach in Manly. I loved the location because of how quiet it was, but also because of how stunning it was as well. I think it’s going to be a go-to location for me from now on.

For this shoot I also had my brother helping me as he is a very talented photographer and drone pilot himself. I definitely want to have him work with me again in the future.

I find it great when I can work with someone and it’s always fun having someone else on board. Photography is one of the things Aaron (my brother) and I have in common as we are pretty polar opposite in about everything else.

I hope you all enjoy these photos. XX
