WTF?! Red Lipstick To Cover Dark Circles

" On a bad day there is always red lipstick"

It’s the makeup trend that has you going WTF, or at least it did when I first heard about it. I am an avid fan of makeup of any kind and am always astounded with the possibilities. I am someone who is naturally quite pale. Don’t get me wrong, while I have learn’t to embrace my pale skin and love it, the one downfall is that my under eye circles are always exaggerated. After countless concealers and various creams nothing has really seemed to help.. Until I heard about this nifty little trick.. Using red lipstick.

The reason why this trick works is that it balances out colour. If you look at a colour wheel, red tones balance out blue tones.

In order to cover those dark circles you’ll want to take a red lipstick of your choice. Using a brush or directly from the lipstick itself (make sure to use a light hand and apply sparingly) you want to lightly dab the lipstick under your eyes where the darkness is. You then want to apply your regular concealer over the top and blend out as you normally would in your day to day makeup routine, and voila! Dark circles are gone. You’re welcome.
